Mingma Jangbu Sherpa

He is a high-altitude mountaineer and licensed professional climbing guide from Nepal, dedicated to leading safe, successful, and responsible Himalayan expeditions. With 5 years of experience on some of the world’s toughest mountains, he first summited Mount Everest at the age of 19—without climbing any 6000-meter peaks beforehand—demonstrating remarkable determination, resilience, and natural ability at extreme altitude.

Since 2022, he has completed 12 major expeditions, all successful. Over the years, he has become known for calm leadership, sharp decision-making, and consistent performance in the most demanding environments.

Through Altipro Adventures, he guides with full personal involvement and commitment. He stays with his clients from Kathmandu to the summit, and from the summit back to Kathmandu, ensuring safety, support, and strong leadership throughout the entire journey. To him, clients are not just climbers — they are his climbing family.

Looking ahead, he plans to continue climbing for the next 15 years, grow Altipro Adventures step by step, and help more climbers achieve their high-altitude dreams through safe, ethical, and world-class mountain guiding.
