Pem Nurbu Sherpa is an accomplished Nepalese climbing guide from Makalu-2, Sankhuwasabha, with an extensive record of ascents on some of the world's highest and most technically demanding mountains. Since his first Everest summit in 2017, he has completed nine Everest ascents and led expeditions on major peaks including Lhotse, Manaslu, Amadablam, K2, Dhaulagiri, and Himlung Himal. His record includes nine summits of Manaslu (8,163m) and five of Amadablam (6,812m) across multiple seasons, reflecting exceptional consistency and technical ability in demanding high-altitude conditions.
Currently working with AltiPro Adventures, Pem Nurbu has guided international teams from Bahrain, India, Singapore, Russia, Canada, Mexico, and France, among others, across back-to-back spring and autumn seasons. Fluent in Nepali, Sherpa, English, and Hindi, he brings strong cross-cultural communication skills to multinational expedition teams. He is recognized for his professionalism, deep high-altitude expertise, and unwavering commitment to helping climbers achieve safe, successful summits on some of the world's most challenging 8,000m peaks.
